We always say that one of the ways we can work most effectively with our clients, and deliver the best results, is when they let us into their world, sharing their long-term plans and vision with us.
And that’s exactly what happened recently when independent business telephony, internet and mobile communications firm The Technology Group invited us to attend their ‘Vision 2022’ stakeholder event held at The Light Cinema in Leeds.
Key note speaker Jonathan Marsden, MD at The Technology Group (pictured right), gave a highly polished presentation to the audience of staff, suppliers and business partners outlining the goals and aspirations for the business over the next five years. This included unveiling exciting plans for overseas expansion and how they are developing pioneering voice Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology into their customers telephone systems, working with IBM, Google and Amazon.
A hard act to follow, having captivated the audience by setting out an exciting future for The Technology Group with an overriding goal to more than treble in turnover by 2022, Jonathan was followed by world renowned motivational speaker, bestselling author and business consultant James Kerr. James eloquently shared his high-performance principles by delivering a talk with fascinating insight into just what makes The All Blacks rugby team the most successful team in the world.
Having a clear vision and articulating it widely gives a business and its stakeholders a clear sense of direction. It also helps us to develop strong messaging and a brand story that is totally in tune with the goals of the business. Inspiring and informative in equal measure, Vision 2022 was storytelling in motion and certainly enabled us to grasp first-hand the big picture for The Technology Group.
What’s more, it gave us an ideal platform to share the TTG vision with a whole host of media contacts as a result, and help the group reach an even greater audience with its messages of growth, innovation and success.
