We're not currently recruiting, but we're always happy to hear from talented people.

If you're a creative PR or communications professional, get in touch. We'll hang onto your details and be right back in touch if we have a relevant role to talk about.

The people we look for generally have:

  • A love of writing and a portfolio of quality written work
  • Media relations experience (and they get a buzz from seeing a story published)
  • A talent for writing B2B content and copy
  • A curious mind that will dig deep into clients' businesses to find great stories
  • Experience of working with design teams and web developers
  • Some digital marketing experience
  • The ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Good project and time management skills
  • An eye for detail
  • A desire to develop their role in a successful and growing regional communications agency.
They help our clients get their voices heard by the people who matter, and we provide a competitive salary and benefits package and a flexible, friendly and supportive working environment.

Clients say we are “the best in our field”, we “always go the extra mile” and make them feel they are “the only client in the world”.

If that sounds like your way of working, we'd love to hear from you.

Working at Partners

There’s no doubt about it: our team makes our business, and we welcome like-minded people who share our values into the team with open arms. You can expect variety in your role, opportunities to work with different businesses across the UK that are often leaders in their field, and alongside colleagues who are the best and most supportive you could ask for.

Here’s a taste of what else you can expect when you work at Partners, a Good Business Charter accredited company:

Flexible, hybrid working

We operate hybrid working across the business, which also offers flexibility to accommodate school pickups, performances, sports days – the moments you don’t want to miss. Since the pandemic, we’ve adopted smart working, which for us means no set days in/out of the office and instead using the office when it suits you, and for specific tasks or activities that work best in person: client meetings, account team catch ups, and our monthly team training sessions.

An inspiring work environment

The Partners Group office in York

We know how much your surroundings can impact your mindset and productivity. Our purpose-built, light, bright and welcoming office is on the outskirts of York, giving you desk space when you need it, with refreshments on tap to keep your creative juices flowing, and access to meeting rooms and breakout spaces for online meetings, team catch ups or peace and quiet to get stuck into a piece of work. And if you’re a fan of canine company, our office dog Flo will be happy to oblige.

Performance bonus

We offer an annual bonus linked to company performance, and we’re very open about how the business is performing, month by month.

Volunteering days

We’re big on giving back, and regularly get involved in community challenges with local employee volunteering charity, York Cares. Everyone in the business also has the option to spend one day a month volunteering to support a charity or cause close to their heart.

Birthday holidays

We don’t believe anyone should have to work on their birthday, which is why everyone has the day off to celebrate as they see fit, in addition to their annual leave allocation. You will also accrue an extra day’s holiday for every year you work with us.

Company pension scheme

We think ahead to support your long term future, and we run a company pension scheme with a 10% annual gross salary employer contribution.

Healthcare cash plan

Your wellbeing is important to us, and we know that every little helps when it comes to managing the cost of living. You can cut down on medical expenses and claim back the cost of dental care, eye tests, and more through our company healthcare cash plan.

CIPR membership

It's important to stay at the top of our game, and you’ll have annual Chartered Institute of Public Relations membership included as part of your package, giving you access to PR industry resources, best practice, and the CIPR CPD programme to keep developing your skills and expertise alongside your tailored personal development programme.
