Partners PR account manager Joe Richardson has joined York Professionals as a voluntary board director this month.

Established over 20 years ago, York Professionals serves the professional services sector in the city.  Joe takes the reins from Partners director Karen Tinkler, who stepped down from the York Professionals board last month after seven years as a director.

Joe joins five other new faces on the board of directors: Tracy Calcraft from Brainkind, Dawn Clements from York Museums Trust, John Lane from YorWealth Ltd, Sue Newton Denton from York College, and Luke Norbury from Home Instead York. Together, they will strengthen the organisation’s representation of the business support, charity, finance, marketing and partnership sectors.

The new board appointments come under the leadership of the incoming York Professionals Chair, Susie Mortonson from Andrew Jackson Solicitors, who took over earlier this month. Susie will steer the organisation over her three-year term.

She says, “I am delighted to welcome our new directors to the team. Our dynamic and enthusiastic Board of Directors are all actively engaged in business in York, mirroring York Professionals membership sectors, each bringing different skills to the organisation.”

York Professionals currently has a membership of over 150 businesses. The network is a strong community of professionals who all want to see the city’s economy flourish, and all play an active role in making it happen.

Congratulations, Joe!
