Eager to hear from leading industry figures when it comes to creative campaigns and all-round search marketing know-how, this month we were amongst the throng of digital marketers who congregated at the first direct arena in Leeds for the third SearchLeeds conference.

The region’s digital sector is certainly thriving, which was reflected in both the stellar line-up of speakers as well as the huge turnout of marketing professionals in attendance at the one-day conference.

With notable property and construction experience for our clients, we were particularly interested to learn about the hugely successful campaign her agency delivered for a home furnishing client when they partnered with an architect to create a simple step-by-step guide to building the ‘ultimate pillow fort’.

Highlighting the opportunities that exist by getting other companies to create stand-out content on your behalf, it really hit home to us the opportunity we have as agency professionals with our network of contacts to work with third parties to create engaging content for our clients. SearchLeeds once again also proved to be a wealth of knowledge when it comes to extremely handy tools and gadgets we can add to our armoury for future campaigns.

Introducing knight lab timeline, which can create a visually striking timeline simply by pulling in media from a variety of online sources after a chronological narrative has been created in an Excel spreadsheet. Who knew Excel could be so much fun?

With us - and many of our clients - celebrating notable milestones in 2018, we'll certainly be giving this one a try!
